A year filled with emotions
Description

To mark its 25th anniversary, Dinarobin Beachcomber is embracing the occasion in style.

From social media to the heart of the hotel, events, thoughtful touches and subtle nods to the milestone invite everyone to share in the spirit of this special year alongside the hotel and its Artisans.

A festive anniversary dinner

Because an anniversary deserves a meaningful date in the calendar, Dinarobin Beachcomber has set 21 December as the official date of its 25th anniversary. It is a fitting choice, bringing together the magic of a milestone birthday with the sparkle that accompanies the start of the festive season.

In Mauritius, the end of the year is associated with the fiery beauty of flowering flamboyant trees, seaside holidays and a lightness of spirit.

That is exactly the mood that will shape the special dinner on 21 December at L’Harmonie restaurant, where hotel guests and a range of invited attendees will come together to celebrate this important occasion. A surprise menu is being created especially for the evening, showcasing the creativity of the peninsula’s chefs.

The theme will be One Thousand and One Nights — a nod to the hotel’s name, Dinarobin, inspired by the island’s earliest known name, Dina Arobi. Given by Arab navigators in the 15th century when they landed on this then-unknown shore, it evokes prosperity and abundance. The promise is of an evening that will be both magical and memorable.

What makes this anniversary truly meaningful? For Dinarobin Beachcomber and its Artisans, it lies above all in sharing it with those who have brought the destination to life since the beginning — and who continue to write its story today with every new stay. With that in mind, a range of thoughtful touches has been designed to give this anniversary year an extra-special dimension.

signature cocktails

Two signature cocktails to discover

From 29 June, guests will be welcomed on arrival with a new signature cocktail: Silver Horizon. Conceived as a tribute to the hotel’s ocean outlook, this alcohol-free blend of lemongrass and ginger infusion, pineapple juice, honey and lemon juice has been specially created to embody 25 years of emotion. Bright and refreshing, with citrus notes softened by the generosity of the honey, it sets the tone for a stay at Dinarobin Beachcomber.

This special creation is joined by another: Imperial Jubilee, available exclusively at the hotel’s Mahogany Bar, offering guests a different expression of Mauritian flavour. Combining lychee juice, rose syrup and champagne, it marks Dinarobin Beachcomber’s anniversary with elegance and invites each guest to create a moment of magic of their own — one to treasure in both heart and memory.

A deliciously indulgent touch…

Who says indulgence is a guilty pleasure?
Certainly not the chefs at Dinarobin Beachcomber. This anniversary is the perfect opportunity to imagine new flavours for guests to enjoy — and that is exactly what the hotel’s Artisans have done.

The result is best savoured — and even better shared. Two crisp profiteroles filled with pink praline ice cream and served with white chocolate sauce. In garnet and white, a gentle nod to the hotel’s colours, this dessert is conceived as a sweet tribute to everything that defines this iconic address.

It will be served daily at lunchtime at Morne Plage restaurant, and twice a week in the evening as part of the buffet at L’Harmonie. An indulgence well worth savouring!

Beachcomber Spa

Beachcomber Spa: a special concept for the hotel’s 25th anniversary

At the heart of the hotel’s Beachcomber Spa, a bespoke wellbeing offering has been created around the anniversary, designed to enhance guests’ sense of balance, calm and renewal.

Showcasing the spa’s signature treatments, the special “25 Years of Care” menu highlights breath, presence and reconnection through the expert touch of its therapists. The menu brings together a series of immersive experiences that transform time itself into an element of care, offering a more emotional interpretation of the treatment collection.

Among the rituals on offer are “25 Breaths”, designed as a mental reset; the signature “Moment 25”, the heart of the collection, combining exfoliation, an enveloping massage and a facial; and the immersive “Eternity 25” experience, a deeply restorative pause featuring guided breathing, massage and fragrant mist boots.
