  • A stronger connection with nature: New coastal protection measures have been introduced to help preserve the beach and strengthen the coastline for the future.
  • 55 years, and still evolving: The reopening coincides with the resort's 55th anniversary, celebrating its heritage while opening the door to its next chapter.

After four months of renovation, Trou aux Biches Beachcomber reopens its doors on 15 October 2026, unveiling a fresh new look while preserving the timeless charm that has made it an icon of Mauritian hospitality.

As the resort celebrates its 55th anniversary, it also welcomes Kervyn Rayeroux as its new General Manager, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

The reopening is further strengthened by Beachcomber’s commitment to protecting the coastline, with innovative measures introduced to help address coastal erosion and preserve the natural beauty of Trou aux Biches.
